"There is no such thing as an 'efficient market.' If there were such a thing, we would never see good and bad companies offered at such vastly different prices daily. Inefficiency combined with patience is why we can make money in the market." — Clay Baker

Major consolidation
The portfolio has needed some consolidation for a long time. Today, at the close, I sold the seventeen positions I discussed in my last post. We now have a substantial amount of cash to deploy when the market decides to offer some growth at a reasonable price. There is plenty to like in the positions I'm keeping, so I'll look to make those larger over time. All of the sales are detailed in the ACTIONS section below. In the portfolio, you'll see these positions with a SOLD tag, and the cost basis and share count are set to zero. I'll delete the positions after everyone has had an opportunity to see the changes.
