Today's biggest gainers had one thing in common, they have very little in common. While there are overlaps in industries like healthcare, technology and semi conductors, even those companies compete in different parts of their respective industries. The more I see positive earnings reports and growth that is broad based the more conviction I get in the strength of this market.

Masimo Corporation develops, manufactures, and markets medical noninvasive monitoring technologies

Lam Research designs, manufactures, markets, refurbishes, and services semiconductor processing systems used in the fabrication of integrated circuits
Celgene develops, and commercializes therapies to treat cancer and inflammatory diseases
Boeing designs, develops, manufactures, sells, services, and supports commercial jetliners, military aircraft, satellites, missile defense, human space flight, and launch systems and services
Ulta Beauty provides cosmetics, fragrance, skincare, haircare, bath and body products, and salon styling tools
