Day 157: Coal Museum Goes Solar


The Mother's Little Helper portfolio was up today +$6,550.93 (+0.92%).

Overall GAIN YTD: +$132,353.47 (+22.67%).

According to CNN Money our benchmark index, the S&P 500 is up +8.54% Year To Date (http://money.cnn.com/data/markets/sandp/).

Maybe I just have a dark and sarcastic sense of humor, but milk came out of my nose when I learned that on the same day President Trump announced the U.S will pull out of the Paris accord, the Kentucky Coal Museum in Benham, KY is switching to solar power. According to the museums Communications Director the museum expects to save $8,000 to $10,000 a year on their energy bill.
